The Rygo is a design crafted by renowned 3D modeller, sculptor and designer Bathsheba Grossman of California. We crowd funded $3,300 dollars to pay for printing and installing a 2 meter tall print of the Rygo. When installed in Vancouver, Canada, it will be the largest 3D print in the Americas. We will have a light installed on the inside of the Rygo like the picture above. The Rygo will be installed at VanDusen Visitors Centre from July 26th, 2012 onwards. Please come by and see the example of what we can accomplish with DShape!
Update: Here’s our feature on Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet. PLUS our good friend Jordan Barnes-Crouse made this video about the Rygo project and interviewed JF at length on the future of Construction and 3D Printing.
